There is a season for everything,
and in California right now it's not kayaking. Skill in expedition
kayaking goes far beyond boat control, I believe taking part in a
variety of sports will do more to increase overall skill then kayaking
three hundred days a year. It's time to go backpacking, a real place to
refine gear setups in low stress situations.
